Availability Report: Penn State’s Chase Sowell, Koby Howard Out Against Purdue — State College Sports news

Penn State will be without its top two offensive weapons against Purdue. Nittany Lion wide receivers Koby Howard and Chase Sowell were listed as out on the team's final pregame availability report, leaving the team without nearly 50% of its receiving production this season. Howard hasn't played since the nonconference finale against Buffalo, while Sowell has appeared in every game so far. The fifth-year wideout was listed as questionable a week ago at Michigan and played but also got dinged up during the game. Here's a look at the full availability for both team's heading into Saturday's 4:15 p.m. matchup in Beaver Stadium.
