Happy Valley Adventure Bureau Awards Honor Centre County Hospitality and Tourism Standouts

The Happy Valley Adventure Bureau on Wednesday honored excellence in the Centre County hospitality and tourism industry. The fifth annual Happy Valley Hospitality Awards welcomed more than 300 hospitality professionals, community partners and elected officials to Brass 16823 in Bellefonte for a celebration recognizing individuals, events and attractions in seven categories. Eric Engelbarts, HVAB president and CEO, said the awards celebrate the "front-line ambassadors to visitors" in Centre County. “Through their work and the roles they fulfill, these individuals are also investing in our community and contributing to the quality of life for residents," Engelbarts said. "They help preserve our history, carry on traditions, and ensure that events and experiences remain vibrant for visitors and locals alike. They also help their organizations grow and succeed while elevating the tourism assets that make Happy Valley special." A committee of local leaders and destination market
